| At Suncoast Airboat Tours, safety
is our number one priority. We want you to thoroughly enjoy your
experience while providing you the utmost in safety.
We inspect our vessels daily and
before each departure.
Our airboats are equipped with a protective
polymer bottom to help protect the hull along the shallow
waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Many underwater obstacles are
present and this added protection is essential for airboats.
Another aspect of boat safety that we
take into consideration is the weather.
Florida has an unpredictable climate and
is one of the leading states for lighting strikes. We do not
take chances with your safety when it comes to the weather.
At Suncoast Airboat Tours, we will only
send out our vessels when we feel it is safe to do so. If
the weather makes it unsafe, we will cancel our trips until
we deem it safe to resume.
Another way that we ensure our customers
safety is through the safety equipment aboard our vessels.
